INDIVISIBLE PLAN

To Each Human Being In The USA:

Are you tired of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (aka “Covid-19”)? Do you want to get back to living our pre-Covid-19 lives? Are you ready for:

* Kids, kindergarten through college, in school, in-person
* Not having to choose between work or supervising kids’ virtual school
* Businesses and jobs restored; our economy recovered
* All restaurants and bars fully open
* All sports being played, with fans in attendance
* Eliminating unnecessary deaths and long-term illness
* Halting massive government spending, skyrocketing debts, and tax increases
* Ending loneliness, anxiety and fear; boosting our mental health
* Traveling again
* Reducing financial insecurity and other inequities
* Gathering with friends/family; attending church, birthdays, graduations, weddings
* Enjoying holidays together
* Fewer government mandates; more freedom and liberty?

If you responded “yes” to any of the above, then you support our call for the immediate, universal implementation of the “INDIVISIBLE Plan!”

The Rotten Status Quo

We now know the impacts of Covid-19, and we’re absolutely exhausted.

Covid-19 has commandeered our lives, impaired our freedom, and killed more Americans than died in WW1. Kids are missing school and childhood. Social activities – family gatherings, sports, concerts, and church – are disrupted. Our economy is being ravaged, businesses are failing, and millions have lost their jobs and savings. We’re distanced, isolated, lonely, anxious, and frustrated.

Meanwhile, our governments (and central bank) are committing and spending not millions or billions, but trillions of dollars in a Weekend At Bernie’s effort of covering-up the economic disaster. This may buoy stock markets, but it merely masks the real economic harm and piles-up suffocating debt, without solving the problem.

And, sadly, there is no end in sight. Forecasts grimly indicate greater economic ruin and an increase in infections and deaths as flu season and winter arrive.

What’s the Fix?

So, if we know this harrowing reality, how do we fix it?

Some suggest exposing everyone to Covid-19 to build “herd immunity.” Officials currently lack sufficient data regarding the effectiveness and duration of antibodies, immunity responses, and re-infection, and suggest that mass exposure likely would result in overwhelmed hospitals and more significant illness and death. So, until the benefits clearly outweigh the risks, this path is too fraught with peril.

What about treatments? What about a vaccine? Treatments apparently are improving, and we’re optimistic that an effective vaccine will be available soon. But, we’re also realistic. There is no “app for that” when it comes to vaccines, and a successful coronavirus vaccine is not a sure thing. Even when one is produced, widespread vaccinations and permanent relief still could be many months or years away.

Surely there’s a better alternative than sitting idly by, watching our people and economy suffer, waiting indefinitely for a “vaccine savior.” Fortunately, there is – the INDIVISIBLE Plan!

INDIVISIBLE Plan: A Declaration of War

Covid-19 is a virus, and viruses primarily survive when hosted by humans. So, we must eliminate the virus from all humans, simultaneously. Sounds simple, yet impossible. How can we accomplish this laudable goal?

We, the people, must declare “War” on Covid-19. See, throughout history, when an enemy threatened our way of life, our country banded together, with a common purpose and shared sacrifice. We shifted our mindset from “me” to “we”, diverted our means of production, developed new technologies, and rationed resources. Undaunted, we did whatever it took to defeat the enemy.

When ships were ablaze in Pearl Harbor or Twin Towers were collapsing, it was clear an enemy had to be stopped. Though invisible, Covid-19 is a similarly sinister enemy. It has killed and sickened us, invaded our social lives, devastated childhoods, bombed our economy, annihilated our jobs, ravaged our mental health, and obliterated our freedoms. And, the carnage is only expected to get worse.

“War” may sound extreme, but it’s the proportional, necessary effort to confront this relentless enemy. Mercifully, this War plan – the INDIVISIBLE Plan – doesn’t involve bombs, missiles, or other countries. Still, because War is extraordinary, it requires extraordinary measures. Governments must invoke War powers, businesses must divert resources, and individuals must make sacrifices.

Most living today have only known peacetime, so a War plan may seem impractical, infeasible or impossible. However, when we rise above politics, exhibit unprecedented imagination and leadership, and join together as “one nation, indivisible”, we can and will surmount the seemingly insurmountable.

INDIVISIBLE Plan: Implementation

The INDIVISIBLE Plan is relatively straightforward – each individual will isolate for 216 hours, be tested, download an App, and follow a few protocols. The roadmap to victory is as follows:

(1) Preparation Phase. The “Preparation Phase” is a 30-day planning period during which the following will occur:

* Our federal, state, and local governments will announce the Plan, and to ensure everyone is informed, social media platforms, TV, newspapers, celebrities, businesses, and schools will be commissioned to help spread the word.
* This Plan is being proposed by non-experts. So, a task force comprised of experts (e.g., CDC, FDA, epidemiologists, suppliers, labs, physicians, tech, business, education, finance) will intensely and collaboratively review, modify, and complete the Plan.
* To prepare for the brief Unity Phase, individuals will secure prescription medicine, food and beverage, governments will ensure vulnerable and home-bound populations are equipped, and hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and correctional facilities will prepare for services.
* Businesses, schools, and other organizations will prepare for a brief suspension, followed by a robust restart.
* Governments will coordinate national and local security and temporary housing for the homeless (including at vacant hotels), and will invoke the Defense Production Act to ensure an ample supply of food, medicine, Covid-19 tests, PPE, and other goods.

(2) Unity Phase. Immediately following the Preparation Phase, the “Unity Phase” will be a 9-day period (i.e., weekend, one work/school week, weekend) during which the following will occur:

* All individuals, simultaneously, will: (i) remain isolated in their dwelling, going outdoors alone solely for exercise; (ii) not physically go to work, school, or shop; and (iii) not receive “take out” or deliveries, except for testing. Given Covid-19 is highly transmissible (even when asymptomatic), 100% physical isolation, in unison, is absolutely essential.
* During isolation, all individuals in the USA will be Covid-19-tested, at least twice, over a several-day period – experts will refine this testing plan to optimize detection of infection and contagion. Testing 330+ million individuals will be a herculean task, but will be accomplished by mobilization of pharma, testing and PPE suppliers, labs and scientists, transportation and logistics companies, technology behemoths, health care workers, volunteers, military, and governments. All test types (e.g., molecular, antigen, etc.) and modes (e.g., home visits, mobile labs, video-proctored home kits, saliva, pooling, etc.) will be deployed to ensure each individual, urban, suburban, and rural, is timely and effectively tested. Personnel will operate under heightened restrictions (e.g., full PPE, daily testing).
* Concurrent with testing, each individual (or parent/guardian) will download the “Patriot App” to: (i) track tests and results; (ii) enable contact tracing (via GPS); (iii) administer INDIVISIBLE Certificates; and (iv) coordinate deployment of vaccines, when available. To protect personal privacy, Patriot App data will be stored in a highly secured database, accessible only by an independent commission (not government), and, by law, can only be used for controlling Covid-19, not other governmental, law enforcement or private purposes. Any individuals who don’t have, or cannot afford, a device will receive one.
* In-person school, business, and transportation (e.g., cars, airplanes, buses) will be suspended.
* Necessary care/supervisory services (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, correctional facilities) will operate under heightened restrictions (e.g., full PPE, daily testing). Medical care will be limited to emergencies.
* Governments will close, except for administering the Plan, law enforcement, military, and securing our nation’s borders.

(3) Freedom Phase.  After the Unity Phase, the “Freedom Phase” begins and the following will occur:

* With 100% commitment in the Unity Phase, freedom rings! We will resume in-person activities (school, church, social gatherings), businesses, restaurants and bars will open, sports will be played and attended, travel will restart, etc. But, to maintain control over the fierce Covid-19 until vaccinations arrive with immunity, we’ll follow these protocols: (i) masks will be required or encouraged in various settings; (ii) the Patriot App will continue contact tracing; and (iii) individuals will home-test periodically, and groups (e.g., schools, businesses) will test periodically.
* To minimize more disruption to our lives and economy, the following “quick response” system will apply: (i) individuals will enter the Freedom Phase only after their entire household tests negative twice over a 3-day period; (ii) if an individual subsequently tests positive or manifests Covid-19 symptoms, the individual and her household will record it in the Patriot App, isolate at home, and remain home until testing negative twice over a 3-day period; and (iii) the Patriot App will alert others who were in contact with infected persons, and they’ll observe the same protocols.
* Governments will secure our nation’s borders. Anyone crossing our border must: (i) receive a rapid-test at the applicable airport, port or border-crossing; (ii) remain quarantined until testing negative twice over a 3-day period; and (iii) download the Patriot App.
* In exchange for 100% participation, our federal government will issue to each individual an “INDIVISIBLE Certificate”, which is a $2,500 grant that can be used to pay for groceries, housing, transportation, healthcare, education, sports, etc. INDIVISIBLE Certificates serve as a “thank you” for patriotic service, and a kick-start of spending and the rebuilding of our economy.

The INDIVISIBLE Plan may be implemented at any time. But, with dire economic and health forecasts, a desire to gather for holidays, and increasing pandemic fatigue, we urge immediate implementation. If we commence the Preparation Phase in mid-November, we could be starting the Freedom Phase by late December or early January.

Benefits & Rewards

The INDIVISIBLE Plan will not eradicate Covid-19. Complete elimination of a virus is virtually impossible. However, by concurrently banishing Covid-19 from (all or most) humans in the USA and establishing the comprehensive testing, tracing and quick recovery system, our country will achieve a “great reset”, enabling us to take control over Covid-19, restore our life, health and economy, provide financial relief to families, and, most critically, buy precious time for an effective vaccine to arrive with immunity.

Objections & Criticisms

The INDIVISIBLE Plan admittedly is not perfect. No War plan is. It undoubtedly needs significant improvements by the experts. Nevertheless, criticisms are welcome, but first, please consider the following:

* Everyone is frustrated. No one wants more isolation, masks, or mandates. But, remember, there is no alternative plan. Outright dismissal or rejection of this Plan means accepting our hideous status quo, and willingly continuing the aggravating government mandates, social isolation, masks, disrupted education, hemorrhaging of jobs, depleted savings, and missed gatherings for an excruciatingly long time. Why accept that? No one wants a broken leg or abscessed tooth, but when it happens, we endure a surgery or root canal to fix it. Similarly, no one wants our Covid-19 problem, but it’s a reality, so why don’t we try to fix it?

* “It’s impossible to get 100% buy-in across our country!” Our nation is restless, political rancor is high, and some of us doubt Covid-19’s impacts, resist mandates or prefer autonomy. Still, 100% participation is not only realistic, but a no-brainer, after everyone realizes that the Plan produces MORE freedom and autonomy, not less. The Plan’s brief isolation, testing, and tracing initially may feel harsh, but it will be significantly less harsh and intrusive than if we don’t support the Plan and experience many more months or years of government orders and quarantines, disrupted sports, church, and social activity, limitless government spending, debt, and taxes, and further financial demise. It’s inconvenient, like seat belts or taxes, but it’s the quickest path to restoring our economy, our life, and our liberties.

* “Mass testing and tracing are impractical or impossible!” No, we need to flip that around. What’s impractical – and utterly unacceptable – is continuing our Groundhog’s Day of repeated lock-downs, economic destruction, missed school, sports and social gatherings, and unnecessary illness and death! If the NBA, colleges, and a Chinese city can accomplish mass testing, surely our great nation can do so, even on a massive scale. It requires a vigorous, War-level effort of: (i) providing proper financial incentivizes to suppliers of tests and PPE and labs to ensure ample supplies and efficient test results; and (ii) coalescing the incomparable power of our governments, transportation and logistics companies (that already deliver goods to every corner of our nation in hours or overnight), awesome technology companies (that can facilitate communications, develop the Patriot App, and collect and analyze data), our world class scientists and health experts, and our limitless volunteers.

* “This Plan invades our privacy!” That’s a bit disingenuous, as virtually everyone uses the Internet or Apps, often with unfettered sharing of personal data. The Patriot App is the opposite – it is highly secure, doesn’t share personal data, and will be used strictly to beat the vile Covid-19 enemy. It is not for surveillance, but is a critical component for resuming our lives.

* “A 9-day isolation is insufficient!” The CDC and experts ultimately will decide timeframes. Nine days is proposed as the balance between: (i) having sufficient time to administer multiple tests over several days to detect replication-competent virus, and (ii) limiting disruption to one work/school week.

* “The virus could strike again!” Sure, Covid-19 may lurk and strike back, but that fear doesn’t devalue the Plan. The Plan allows us to renew our life and economy, while establishing a system to defend against and restrain Covid-19, should it rear its ugly head.

* “This Plan will bankrupt our country!” Significant spending will be required, however: (i) it likely is a fraction of the trillions that our governments ultimately will spend if we don’t implement this Plan; and (ii) it hastens our economic recovery, which accelerates tax revenue to pay for it.

Criticism is easy, but we cannot allow objections to paralyze us into doing nothing, and let this enemy further rip apart our lives. We must press forward with the INDIVISIBLE Plan, so we can, as Bon Jovi sings, get back to “living while we’re alive!”

Politically Correct

The INDIVISBLE Plan is NOT a political plan. It’s not a Trump, Biden, Republican or Democrat plan. Rather, it’s a humanity plan, and the morally, economically, and practically right thing for our nation. We held off releasing the Plan during the election season, as it’s not about politics. But, we cannot wait any longer. The President who implements the Plan likely will be credited with one of the noblest, greatest accomplishments in our nation’s history.

Call To Action

So, now, we have a choice. We can view the Plan as impossible, accept defeat, and continue the misery of our status quo, indefinitely. Or, we can view the Plan as possible, join together in solidarity, and make a once-in-a-lifetime sacrifice to beat a once-in-a-century pandemic!

When we choose the Plan, we will not only accelerate the restoration of our health and economy, but we’ll be part of one of the most patriotic, profound achievements in US history, and we’ll demonstrate to the world that our nation is still, as Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote, “young, scrappy and hungry!”

This is not just a fight for lives, but it’s a battle for our way of life. It’s time to declare War against Covid-19 and implement the INDIVISIBLE Plan!
